One of my happy moments as a a digital jobs advocate for the countryside was the coming of Ubiquity Global Services (UGS), is a multinational services organization offering customer management solutions, risk management operations and interactive voice response (IVR) solutions based in New York City.
Founded in 2012, Ubiquity provides outsourcing services including call centers, digital correspondence services, knowledge process outsourcing and information technology development. The company is privately held. Ubiquity operates in the United States, Hungary, Portugal, El Salvador and the Philippines.
Ubiquity offers innovative customer experience management solutions designed to improve user satisfaction while reducing total servicing costs.
Together with its clients, Ubiquity is pioneering a new approach for maximizing the potential of every customer contact. Its Bacolod deliver center was launched in March 2014, with a starting count of 50 pioneer employees.
Since then, the company has grown to more than 1,000 team members. On September 6, 2014, the first space of UGS at the Negros First CyberCentre was formally launched. Today, UGS has reached its 7th year in Bacolod City.
I am sharing pictures of the inauguration seven years ago.

There have been many challenges in assisting UGS coming to Bacolod but many visionaries and catalysts lent a hand. Thank you UGS for trusting Bacolod and Negros Occidental.
