Atty. Jocelle Batapa-Sigue to Chair and Curate B2B Café 2026

Bringing together decades of experience in digital policy, ICT industry development, innovation ecosystem building, entrepreneurship, and countryside development, Atty. Jocelle Batapa-Sigue will chair and curate the B2B Café 2026, a dedicated business-matching platform at the 4th IoT Conference Philippines (IoTConPh) 2026 and the 1st AI Philippine Expo, happening on November 10–11, 2026, at the Megatrade Halls, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
A lawyer, digital policy strategist, innovation advocate, and former Undersecretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology for ICT Industry Development, Batapa-Sigue has spent years building bridges among government, industry, academe, startups, investors, technology communities, and regional innovation ecosystems.
Her work has consistently focused on translating technology opportunities into inclusive economic growth, stronger local ecosystems, investment, jobs, and countryside development. As a long-time builder of ICT councils and multi-sector networks, she brings a strong understanding of both the needs of enterprises and the opportunities that emerging technologies can unlock across cities and regions.
This combination of policy insight, industry experience, ecosystem-building expertise, and an extensive multi-sector network positions her to strategically curate the B2B Café—not simply as a networking space, but as a platform for identifying synergies, matching needs with solutions, and initiating conversations that can develop into concrete partnerships.
IoTConPh 2026 is a multi-sector convergence platform bringing together enterprises, local government units, technology providers, academe, startups, developers, policymakers, and other ecosystem stakeholders to advance the practical adoption of intelligent and connected technologies.
Co-located with IoTConPh is the inaugural AI Philippine Expo, highlighting the growing convergence of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things across business, government, industry, and smart-city applications.
At the intersection of these two major events is the B2B Café—a curated business-matching platform designed to move beyond conventional networking and create focused, purposeful, and opportunity-driven conversations.
Under Batapa-Sigue’s chairmanship and curation, the B2B Café will seek to facilitate connections that can lead to:
- strategic partnerships and collaborations;
- technology pilots and proof-of-concept projects;
- procurement and enterprise opportunities;
- investment and startup engagements;
- government-industry-academe partnerships; and
- access to new customers, markets, and innovation networks.
The B2B Café is envisioned as a strategic meeting point for organizations ready to build, invest, collaborate, deploy, and scale.
More than bringing people into the same room, the platform will focus on connecting the right people around the right opportunities—turning conversations into relationships, relationships into collaborations, and collaborations into measurable economic and social value.
Connect opportunities. Build partnerships. Create impact.
